Bartholomew students enjoy an extensive range of extracurricular activities, with something for everyone and plenty of opportunities to explore interests, try something new and support wellbeing.

Alongside sporting fixtures and competitions, the PE department offers a wide range of after-school sports clubs for different ages and abilities. Students can also get involved in drama, music and art, take part in exciting STEM activities, or join lunchtime games, craft and book groups in our recently refurbished library. Homework Club is also available after school, alongside many other clubs and activities across the school.

Sixth Form students play an important role in running some of our clubs and activities, helping to bring different year groups together – including through our fiercely competitive chess tournament!

Our termly Bartholomew Bulletin newsletters offer a flavour of the wider enrichment opportunities available at Bartholomew School, so take a look for some inspiration.

Clubs generally start at 3.15pm and finish at 4.10pm unless otherwise stated. If a club needs to be cancelled, the club leader will notify students.

Students who use school transport can make use of the late bus service on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Please ensure you sign up for a place on the late bus if required. The sign-up sheet is available at Reception.

Our extracurricular timetable is updated termly and published on this page and on Google Classroom. During term time, news and updates are also shared through Google Classroom, Student News and the digital displays around school.
