Extracurricular activities
Bartholomew students enjoy an extensive range of extracurricular activities, with something for everyone and an opportunity to enhance wellbeing, explore interests and try something new.
In addition to the our elite sporting fixtures and competitions, there are a range of after school sports clubs offered by the PE department to cater for all ages and abilities. Those with other interests may like to join our drama, music or art clubs. And if science is your thing, there are a number of exciting STEM activities to try. Our recently refurbished library is the place to go for lunchtime games, craft and book groups, or after school homework club, plus there are many more interests catered for across the school for all year groups.
Our Sixth Form play a key role in running some our clubs and activities, bringing all year groups together, such as the fiercely competitive chess tournament!
Our termly newsletters give an insight into some of the enrichment activities at Bartholomew School so take a look for some inspiration!
Clubs generally start at 3.15pm and run until 4.10pm (unless otherwise stated). In the event of a cancellation, the club leader will post a message in advance on Google Classroom.
Students who use school transport may take advantage of the late bus service, which operates on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Please ensure you sign up for a space on the late bus if required. The sign up sheet is located at the hatch near reprographics.
Our extracurricular timetable is updated termly and published on this page. During term time, news and updates are posted on Google Classroom, in Student News, and on the digital displays around school.
